I wasn't sure at first, however....

I wasnt sure about this book at first as it was focused mainly on Gina and I didnt see that she held quite an important role as the other characters (unfortuantely I read these books in the wrong order and started off with the last book first!). However I soon came to like the character although her secret towards the end of the book I did not see coming although it certainly explained a lot. However I was a bit disappointed that when she finally went abroad to get her daughter with Clay, that it didnt actually show what happened over there. Having read the 3rd book I know that all went well and the adoption was finally a success and the little girl was brought to them, however it would have been nice to see how it actually happened.

Disappointing

Didn't enjoy this nearly as much as Keeper of the Light and did skim read a lot of it in the middle. Found it to be a bit monotonous and was glad when I had got to the end.I will, nevertheless, go on to read the last one in this trilogy.

Brilliant read

Having read The Keeper Of The Light which I loved I downloaded Kiss River to my kindle in anticipation and I wasn't disappointed. All my life an avid reader, for several years I have concentrated on charity work and pushed reading for pleasure to one side. These first novels that I have ever read of Diane C have found d me reading until the early hours, unable to put my kindle down. superb reads and I have just bought 2 more of her books, and I am sure I will read all of her books to date. thoroughly recommended.
